Transistor Made Using a Single Atom May Help Beat Moore’s Law
Interesting, but I don’t see how this is defeating Moore’s Law. To quote Wikipedia, Moore’s Law is about doubling the number of transistors that can be “inexpensively placed on a integrated circuit” every two years. This doesn’t sound like it’s a technology ready to be inexpensively placed on a circuit for a while. Plus, once you hit the limit of using a single atom as your transistor, you kind of run out of road, don’t you?
